I have been designing some new greeting cards recently. I don't particularly like a lot of the cards available in shops--especially wedding cards. And as I am going to be a guest at a couple of weddings soon I thought I would make my own.  I decided that simple designs would be best... no champagne corks popping, no wedding rings or love hearts and not a bride or groom in sight! I even printed some 'Fill in the Blank" cards that can be used for almost any occasion, not just weddings. So what do you think? Are you tired of giving boring cards too? These cards are available now in my Etsy store.

And I won't scare you by posting them just yet but I have some new Christmas cards coming soon. :)

One of the reasons I took a little holiday a few weeks ago was so I could attend a couple of weddings. This is the wedding of Lucinda and Gus. Having known Lucinda for such a long time I was honoured when she asked me to photograph her and Gus' wedding. Thank you both for such a fun and memorable day. And a big thanks to Damian and Tristan for their help on the day. ❤

Back in September I traveled back to Western Australia for a family wedding. This couple have been together for quite some time and I was not sure what kind of gift to give them, so I offered to photograph their wedding day for them.

Having never photographed a wedding before they were quite trusting in agreeing to my offer. I felt very privileged to be both guest and photographer. Here are a couple of details from the day.

The beautiful cake was made by the bride and her mother.  ❤
