RAINY DAY RECYCLING

Christmas_Card I was having a clean up the other day and came across some prints I started a while ago that I never finished. Do you remember the Christmas cards I made last year? Well I used one of the designs to screenprint some larger prints, but they kind of sat there for a while and I wasn't sure what to with them and I lost interest (or inspiration). So, sitting at home on a rainy Sydney Saturday and with Christmas around the corner I decided to chop them up and make some more cards. It seems this design was always destined to be festive. I hope you are also having a crafty and creative weekend :)

THE 'C' WORD

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I had designed some cards for the festive season, and while the decorations have been hanging in retail stores for months I thought it was a bit early to post them on the blog (although I did give you a sneak peek via Instagram). But now that November is here, I think it is safe to mention the C word... Christmas ;). And as with my other cards I didn't want anything too traditional, so with images of snowflakes, tinsel and lights, Christmas trees and opening presents in mind, I added a geometric twist. They are screenprinted by hand on recycled card and are available individually or in sets of four from my Etsy shop.

I hope you like them :)
